About Lauren Berry, PMHNP-BC

Lauren is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in South Carolina, with over 12 years of experience in the medical field. Her background in both acute care and outpatient settings has highlighted significant gaps in today’s mental healthcare system. These gaps inspired Lauren to pursue a specialization in psychiatry, where she is dedicated to providing compassionate support to help patients live more peaceful and fulfilling lives.

Lauren treats a broad range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, insomnia, trauma, OCD, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), life transitions, PTSD, and social/performance anxiety. She has particular expertise in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma.

Her practice focuses on integrative mental health, emphasizing the vital connection between mind and body. Lauren believes in a holistic approach to care, combining modern medication with lifestyle interventions such as yoga, meditation, mindfulness, nutrition, social connections, stress resilience techniques, and therapy. This comprehensive approach aims to create lasting balance and harmony in the body, with benefits that extend beyond just mental health.

Lauren was born and raised in South Carolina and now lives in the Lowcountry with her husband and two children. When she is not working, she enjoys reading, fishing with her husband, impressionist art and film, being outside on the water, spending time with family, and her active involvement in church. She is also passionate about ocean conservation—especially sea turtles—and loves shark tooth hunting with her boys.

Restoring Balance at Home

Care is both medical and practical. Whether it’s fine-tuning treatment, building healthier routines, or creating strategies to manage stress, the goal is always the same: restoring balance, improving emotional well-being, and strengthening family connections.

  • Lasting Impact: Our care is designed not only to help today, but to support emotional strength and family wellness for generations.

"I want my patients to feel that they have someone in their corner, someone who is here to help them achieve their goals. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where they feel truly seen and heard. I honor who they are today, while making room for who they want to become. This is your place to begin the journey toward mental wellness and a fulfilling life, and we'll be with you every step of the way."
